Networking and backing serve different purposes inside CAVO. Together, they turn creative interest into conversation, opportunity and defined financial participation.
The Network
Discover artists and culturally engaged members through their work, interests and ambitions. Connect to discuss art, follow a practice, collaborate, collect, share expertise or help open a professional door. The reason to meet is yours; the connection is mutual.

Selected artists can state what they want to raise, how the money would be used, the share of their revenue pool offered and the proposed period. Eligible backers can review the terms, fund part or all of the target and track their allocation and agreed reporting separately.

Move into the separate backing interface to review an artist's target, intended use, offered revenue percentage, period, progress and full terms.
Build
A portfolio view would bring together backed artists, each backer's allocation, agreed financial reporting and career milestones while the creative network continues around it.

Help an artist put a defined career plan into motion. Through a future artist-specific agreement, eligible backers could share in the revenue pool offered, with payments linked to actual eligible earnings and the agreed terms.

Build mutually chosen relationships with artists, curators and culturally engaged members, while using your own network to create useful opportunities.
Cultural capital
Encounter serious work early, exchange ideas with its makers and deepen your understanding of the practice while offering informed perspective.
Symbolic capital
Build a reputation for seeing and enabling serious talent early, with any acknowledgement shaped by the artist and the contribution made.

A dedicated screen for the funding target, purpose, share of the artist's revenue pool offered, eligible revenue categories, proposed period and supporting material.
A clear record of your contribution, proportional participation, agreement, funding progress and relevant reporting. Your artist-specific agreement sets out the financial rights and period covered.
