01Can I use the CAVO app today?
The CAVO app is coming soon. Register your interest now, and explore concept screens that bring the planned experience to life using fictional profiles, connections, propositions and allocations.
02Are membership, invitations and backing the same thing?
Each has its own role. Membership is designed to provide the network access described in its terms. Connections develop through mutual choice, and artists shape the experiences they offer. Financial backing has a separate eligibility process and artist-specific agreement.
03Does connecting with an artist require backing them?
The Network is designed to let members connect independently of backing, around art, experience, collaboration or career opportunity. For those who choose to explore financial participation, the separate Backing interface would hold the artist’s proposition and agreement.
04What does a backer gain beyond a revenue share?
The network can offer conversation with artists and culturally engaged peers, insight into creative practice, opportunities to contribute expertise or access, and recognition for enabling talent where both sides agree. These possibilities develop through mutual interest, with invitations and acknowledgement agreed separately from financial backing.
05Is CAVO crowdfunding?
CAVO is developing a selective model built around artist-defined propositions. Its legal and regulatory classification is still to be confirmed through professional review before launch. You can register interest while that work is prepared.
06Does a backer own the artist or their work?
Artists retain ownership of their work and creative independence. A backer’s financial participation covers the revenue share and period set out in the relevant agreement.
07How is the offered revenue share decided?
Each artist proposes a funding target, a share of their revenue pool and a defined term. CAVO reviews whether those terms are credible and fair.
08What happens if several backers fund one artist?
They divide the offered backer pool in proportion to their contributions. A backer providing 25% of the funding target receives 25% of the percentage offered to backers.
09Are returns guaranteed?
Payments follow actual eligible earnings and the artist-specific agreement. Returns are not guaranteed: earnings can vary and may be zero. The worked examples help explain the calculation, rather than predict an outcome.
10Can artists keep creative control?
Yes. Backers would receive only the financial rights stated in a backing agreement. Any conversation, update, invitation or other access would remain artist-led and separately offered.
